We are Mike and Tina and this web log is the journal of our trials, successes and failures as we transition to a much simpler and more self-sufficient lifestyle in Cochise County, Arizona.

After living my entire life in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, we decided to trade the chaos (and convenience) of suburban city life, for the quiet and simplicity of a more rural environment.  So in August 2016 we sold our house, packed up all of our belongings and moved to a small rental house while we build our “forever home”.
